How we handle your data under UK GDPR.

1. Who we are

FanZone UK ("we", "us") runs fan zone events and is part of RNS Group. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website. For any data-protection question contact hello@fanzoneuk.com.

2. What data we collect

• Email address, when you sign up for updates.
• UK mobile number, where you choose to share one.
• Name, email and message content submitted via the contact form.
• A record of the consent wording you saw when you signed up, with the time, IP address and browser, kept as proof of consent.
• Anonymous traffic data (page views, browser, country) via our privacy-friendly analytics partner.

3. Why we collect it

• To send you event news, dates, venue announcements and early-access offers.
• To respond to questions you send us through the contact form or WhatsApp.
• To keep the site fast, reliable and free of fraud or abuse.

4. Lawful basis

We rely on your consent when you opt in to email or SMS updates, and on our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the website.

5. Sister brands

The sign-up form names the RNS Group brands your sign-up covers. By default that is FanZone UK and the sister brands named on the form at the moment you sign up. You can choose FanZone UK only with one tap before signing up, and every email carries an unsubscribe link and a preference centre.

6. How long we keep it

Unsubscribing stops our marketing messages straight away. We keep a minimal record of your address and your consent history after that, so we can prove consent and make sure we do not contact you again. To have your personal data erased, email us and we will anonymise your record. Contact-form messages are kept for up to 24 months so we can follow up if needed. Anonymous analytics data is retained according to our processor's default settings.

7. Who we share it with

Sign-ups and contact messages are stored in RNS Group's own customer platform. We use a small number of trusted processors to run the service, including our email delivery provider, our hosting provider (Render) and our analytics partner. If you contact us on WhatsApp, your messages are handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own terms. We do not sell or rent your data to third parties.

8. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct or delete it.
• Withdraw consent for marketing emails or SMS at any time.
• Lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

9. Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own, and our analytics partner operates without third-party tracking cookies.

10. Updates

We may update this notice from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
